Abstract:
Fire resistant, halogen-free mixtures (I) are based on thermoplastic polymers with high thermal stability, especially for the production of electrical and/or optical cables and conductors. In addition to the base polymer, these mixtures at least contain (a) a salt of a Group II, IIa or IIb metal, (b) a metal hydroxide, and (c) silicone oil or rubber optionally also in combination.
