To enable a meter to be mounted even if a mounting point to access an upper part from a front face side cannot be secured.

In a meter mounting structure 1, a meter main body 2 is arranged so that the front face 3 of the meter main body 2 faces nearly backward with respect to an instrument panel 5 and at least part of the upper side face 6 of the meter main body 2 is exposed upward from the upper face of the instrument panel 5. Meter upper side face covers 15 to 17 that are shaped so as not to stick out upward from a visible outline of the front face 3 of the meter main body 2 are formed separately from the meter main body 2. The meter upper side face covers 15 to 17 can cover fitting parts 18, 19 to the instrument panel 5 positioned in the upper backward of the meter main body 2.
