To provide a method and device for water level control in an automatic bath unit which detect a wide range of water levels by a level sensor and accurately detect the water level even when the installation height of a bath unit is varied.
The device detects the water level of a bathtub from a reference level using a water level sensor provided at the height differing from the height of a circulation unit thereof. The water level sensor is changed such that the width of installation height difference of the bathtub can be widely detected even if an output curve, a relationship of pressures and output voltages, changes corresponding to the instillation position of the bathtub. The output curve is made to widely detect the width of installation height difference of the bathtub, but the precision of water levels deteriorates. In order to improve precision from a reference water level, the precision of the water level sensor is improved by increasing gain of the output curve, and then the voltage range is changed to be in the range that a micro computer can monitor by decreasing the level of the output curve of the sensor.
