Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by judging whether or not an image photographed by an image pickup device is an image obtained by photographing a human body, and stopping the processing when not. SOLUTION: An illuminating device 21 is turned on by an illumination controller 21a, and the photographic image of a CCD camera 20 is stored in an image memory 11. When a human body irradiated with a light by the illuminating device 21 is photographed, a shade is generated due to the projection and recession of face parts such as the eyes, the nose, and the mouth on he photographic image of the CCD camera 20, and when the photographic object is a sheet of photograph, no projection or recession is on the surface, and shade is hardly generated on the photographic image of the CCD camera. Whether or not the photographic object is a human body is judged based on the above difference by a photographic object judging part 12. When the photographic object is not a human body, the following process is stopped. Thus, any service can not be offered even when the face photographic of a registered person is used, and the security of this system can be improved.
