To produce refrigerant vapor by utilizing low-temperature exhaust heat existing outside of a system, to reduce the vapor generating load in a low-temperature regenerator, to remarkably reduce the gas consumption in a high-temperature regenerator even in the heating operation, and to increase a hot water temperature for heating.
The absorption liquid 1a led out from an absorber 1 and directed to a hot water heat exchanger 8 through the low-temperature heat exchanger 6 is fully or partially direction directly to the hot water heat exchanger 8 from the absorber 1 in a cooling operation. The absorption liquid 1b returned to the absorber 1 through the low-temperature heat exchanger 6 in the cooling operation is fully or partially supplied from the low temperature heat exchanger 6 to an evaporator 5 in a heating operation. The hot water 20 circulated in an evaporator pipe 5p in the evaporator 5 is also heated by the absorption liquid 1b supplied to the evaporation from the low-temperature heat exchanger 6. Whereby the concentration of the absorption liquid is totally lowered to activate the latent heat recovering action by the hot water heat exchanger 8 by lowering the absorption liquid saturation temperature.
