To provide a lens control system that simplifies a system configuration and facilitates zoom operation by controlling the zoom of each single lens by one controller in a composite photography lens for composing one photography optical system by connecting a photography lens (single photography lens) that can be used singly in serial.

The lens control system comprises a zoom controller 300; a sorting device 302; and servo modules 304A, 304B of the signal photography lenses (lenses 1, 2) for the composite photography lens. A control signal outputted based on the operation of a zoom seesaw switch 310 of the zoom controller 300 is sorted to the servo modules 304A, 304B of respective lenses 1, 2 by the sorting device 302 and the zoom of respective lenses 1, 2 is driven by respective servo modules 304A, 304B.
