Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a frequency band of real-time transfer between an information recorder and other information processors. SOLUTION: A CPU 10a calculates the maximum transfer rate to a hard disk drive HDD 10d, on the basis of minimum consecutive areas of the hard disk drive HDD 10d, a sequential transfer rate, and an access time. Then the CPU 10a permits requests of real-time transfer from a digital television receiver 30, a personal computer 40, a digital receiver 50 and a digital video camera 60 or the like at the same time, which are connected to the CPU 10a via an I/F 10e and a connection cable 20, on the condition that the transfer rate is less than the maximum transfer rate.
