To solve the problem that an opposite apparatus can not receive a transmitted signal in the case of transmitting the signal through a different channel to the opposite apparatus during the communication with different apparatus with respect to a communication apparatus constituting a home network at home.
The communication apparatus is constituted so that, when the existence of a carrier is detected in a channel to be used for transmission, a radio communicating means 2 receives a radio wave of the channel. when a radio system identification code showing a communication group to which the communication apparatus itself belongs is detected, the channel is continuously received and the radio communicating means 2 performs radio transmission after detecting the absence of the carrier, and when the radio system identification code showing its belonging communication group is not detected, the channel is changed and radio transmission is performed by the changed channel when there is not carrier.
