Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for precoating which does not contain a chrome-based anticorrosive pigment and has a good weldability, press workability and corrosion resistance, and a precoat steel plate coated with this coating composition. SOLUTION: A coating composition for precoating principally comprises (A) from 35 to 94 vol.% vehicle resin comprising a thermosetting resin and a crosslinking agent, (B) from 5 to 40 vol.% of at least one anticorrosive pigment selected from the group consisting of (B-1) a carbonate of Ca or Mg, (B-2) a sulfonate of Al or Ba, (B-3) a silicate of Al, Zn, W, Ca or Ba, (B-4) an acetate of Al, Zn, Ni, W, Mg or Cs, (B-5) a phosphate of Al, Mg or Ca, (B-6) a molybdate of Al or Zn, (B-7) a phosphomolybdate of Al, Zn or Pb, (B-8) a vanadate of Al, Zn, Pb or P, (B-9) an oxide of Al, Zn, Ni, W, V, Si, Mg, Ca, Zr or Ti and (B-10) zinc phosphite and (C) from 1 to 40 vol.% conductive material comprising a globular stainless steel powder and a ferroalloy powder containing at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Mn, Si, W, Mo, V, Ti, Ni, B and Nb, based on the solid component of the coating.
