Title:
インクジェットプリンタ及びインクジェット・プリント方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4094709
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
An inkjet printer 10 includes at least one print cartridge 18 mounted in a scanning carriage 16 and having an ink interconnect 42 coupled, via a flexible tube 40, to an ink output of a stationary pressure regulator 38, an ink input of the pressure regulator is connected, via a tube 36, to a stationary ink supply 30 having replaceable ink cartridges 31-34, the print cartridge contains one or more printheads 96 and one or more ink interconnects 54, one interconnect for each colour ink which is printable by the print cartridge. To avoid ink pressure spikes due to the momentum of the ink in the flexible ink tube as the carriage scans across the medium, a flexible diaphragm 76 is incorporated in the ink chamber 72, 73 of the print cartridge. The print cartridge is inserted in the scanning carriage so as to create a fluid coupling between the printhead and the flexible tube leading to the scanning carriage.
