Abstract:
A cylindrical vibration-proofing unit (16) which comprises an inner cylinder (1), an outer cylinder (2) and a vibration-proofing rubber (3). An end face of a flange (10) of the outer cylinder (2) is superposed on a bond face (15) of a bracket (4) on the bracket side and the butt bonding portions of these end faces are laser-welded. In this case, the end face on the outer circumference side of the flange (10) serving as the bond portion protrudes to the position that does not thermally affect the vibration-proofing rubber (3) and is spaced apart from the vibration-proofing rubber (3). This position that does not impart thermal influences is determined experimentally by the materials to be welded, the thickness, the laser welding condition (penetration depth, output, welding rate), a critical surface temperature of the rubber, and so forth.
