Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and short piezoelectric transformer suited for mass-production. SOLUTION: An input part 32 wherein a plurality of piezoelectric ceramics layers 34 and a plurality of electrodes 35a and 35b are alternately laminated so as to face each other, in the thickness direction of a piezoelectric ceramics square plate 31, and an output part 33 in which the plurality of piezoelectric ceramics layers 34 and a plurality of electrodes 36a and 36b are alternately laminated so as to face opposite to the thickness direction, are provided, and at the input part 32 and the output part 33, between the electrodes 35a, 35b, 36a, and 36b are polarized in the thickness direction. A piezoelectric transformer is driven in the first-order oscillation mode of radial expansion of the square plate 31.
