Abstract:
An automotive heat exchanging system has a heat exchanger (3) comprising a condenser (1) and the radiator (2), an electric fan (4) located in the front of an engine (11) and an automatic transmission (12). A shroud (5) is attached to and covers peripheral portions of the electric fan (4) and the heart exchanger (3) to prevent air from bypassing the shutter (7). The shroud (5) forms an air passage (6) inside of it for allowing airflow through the heat exchanger (3) to flow toward the automatic transmission (12). A shutter (7) is disposed in the shroud (5) and attached at a periphery of the shroud (5). The shutter (7) is controlled to open and close the air passage (6) by a controller (22) based on oil temperature.
