Title:
微生物による汚染物質の分解除去方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4120858
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly perform bio-augmentation by suppressing the propagation of obstractive bacteria. SOLUTION: In the method for decomposing and removing a pollutant by microorganisms, first, a solution containing transition metal ions having low valence is added to polluted soil mixed with dioxins. Next, an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution is further added to this polluted soil. Whereupon, the solution containing transition metal ions having low valence and the aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution generate Fenton's reaction to form hydroxyl radicals. These hydroxyl radicals subject dioxins getting mixed in polluted soil to oxidative decomposition by the strong oxidizing force thereof to convert them to easily decomposable substances and also dissociate dioxins adhering to the surfaces of particles of polluted soil from those particles. Further, the hydroxyl radicals also preliminarily sterilize obstractive bacteria living in polluted soil by the strong oxidizing force thereof. Next, predetermined selected bacteria are added to the polluted soil of this state to keep an environment fitted to the living environment of microorganisms.
