To provide a cyclone-type dust collector equipped with a function that a hopper section connectably disposed at the lower section of a cyclone body is removed, and a dust collector with the height of an entire dust collector reduced by a portion of this hopper section can be manufactured, if the hopper section is not provided, a function for collecting dust as the hopper can be fully exerted, and a collected dust can be smoothly and definitely recovered.

Air containing dust sucked from a sucking port 3 is whirled inside a cyclone body 1A, a relatively big dust is dropped on the side of a bottom plate 1C inside the cyclone body 1A, and a fine dust is filtered with a filter 8 provided inside the cyclone body 1A. A dust discharge port 1H is provided at the outer surface of the bottom of the cyclone body 1A and dust coming down is recovered by allowing the dust to be discharged to a dust recovery bucket 16 through this discharge port 1H.
