Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-pass both-side system image forming method and an image forming device capable of forming image on both sides or only on one side of a recording medium, and to provide a transfer method and a transfer device used for the image forming device. SOLUTION: A mode of forming the image (toner image) on the transfer paper P is switched by a mode switching means 200 between a both-side mode 200A of forming the images on both sides of the transfer paper P by using both the 1st image forming unit 13a and a 2nd image forming unit 13b, a front side mode 200B of forming the image only on the front side of the transfer paper P by using the 1st image forming unit 13a and a rear side mode 200C of forming the image (rear side toner image) only on the rear side of the transfer paper P by using the 2nd image forming unit 13b. Then, by using the 1-pass both-side system printer, the images can be formed on both sides of the transfer paper P, besides, only on one side of the transfer paper P, and the utilizable extent of the printer is enlarged.
