Abstract:
A ratio of the number of time slots used for communications via a radio channel to the sum of the total number of time slots requested for transmission by a base station and the sum total of the numbers of time slots respectively requested for transmission by subscriber stations is calculated when the sum of the total numbers of time slots requested for transmission exceeds the number of time slots used for communications. The number of time slots assigned to each of the subscriber stations is determined from the product of the number of time slots requested for transmission by each of the subscriber station and the ratio.
