Abstract:
To enhance diagnostic efficiency by a doctor by grasping the correct position and largeness of an organ or a lesion in a reproduced photographing image, to eliminate photographing for slice positioning by transferring position information to another modality such as a CT (computerized tomography) to relieve burden on a patient, and also to raise working efficiency.
An image acquiring apparatus includes: a sensor for detecting a physical value intrinsic to a subject, and generating a digital image based on the physical value; and a holding means for holding position information on an area to be an object in the image together with the image.
