A disk device including a movable portion 26 which supports pivotally and enably to swing a feed screw axis 21, a thread motor 40 to drive a small gear 45b and the like which engage with a gear 28 interlocked in an end portion 21a of the feed screw axis 21 thereby to rotate the feed screw axis 21, and a control screw 30 to perform a height control of the movable portion 26.
