To provide a display device whose appearance is enhanced by making a boundary between a display portion and a non-display portion of a liquid crystal panel visually recognized from an opening portion inconspicuous.

The display device 1 is equipped with: the liquid crystal panel 8 which has the display portion 8a displaying information, and the non-display portion 8b arranged adjacent to the display portion 8a and not displaying information; a shielding member 17a arranged on the surface side of the liquid crystal panel 8; and an adjusting portion 13a. The adjusting portion 13a makes color tones or light transmittance values of the display portion 8a and the non-display portion 8b roughly fit with each other at least in a region visible from the opening portion 17b and in the vicinity of the boarder line of them.
