Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb carrier exhibiting small pressure drop and a method of producing the same by which the carrier can be surely and rapidly manufactured. SOLUTION: The metal honeycomb carrier is obtained by alternately laminating flat plate-like metal foils and wavy metal foils, and the foils are adhered by an adhesive having a softening point of 100 to 180 deg.C. The method of manufacturing the metal honeycomb carrier comprises adhering the flat plate-like metal foil with the wavy metal foil by the adhesive having a softening point of 100 to 180 deg.C, which is coated on the mountain part of the wavy metal foil.
