Abstract:
The mobile handset carries out a call step to a special service number before the authentication step providing a high level of confidence that the base station is receiving the correct handset call. The initialization is carried out by the mobile phone calling a base station special service number and providing authentication. Initialization then takes place from the public network to the domestic base station, and digital words are transmitted from the mobile terminal to the domestic base station.
