The information display system has a route retrieval process means 91 for retrieving routes from a place of departure to the destination, a basic route position setting process means 92 for setting a position of a basic route from a plurality of candidate routes representing the retrieved routes in a basic position in an image plane display range, other route position setting process means 93 for setting positions of routes other than the basic route of the plurality of candidate routes in positions relative to the basic position in the image plane display range, and a route display process means for displaying the basic route and the other routes. Since the other routes are set and drawn in the positions relative to the basic position in the image plane display range, the arrival time to the destination when each candidate route is used, can be easily recognized.
