Abstract:
To provide an inorganic molded article which can keep desired strength by a small amount of an organic binder without increasing the amount of the binder to be added and a method for producing the molded article.
The molded article is obtained by molding a mixture containing an inorganic component, a hydrophilic resin, and amorphous silica particles of 6 μm or below in average particle size as indispensable components and heating/curing the molded mixture.
