To provide an image processor capable of printing a ground tint which can deal with variation in density on a photosensitive drum.
Pressing a contrast adjusting button (S21), a user glances around a printed matter from a printer. For example, when judging that the contrast of a center is strange (center in S22), the user sets the position thereof with an adjusting position setting section, and changes the concentration of the portion using a text ground tint threshold setting section 43 (S22-S26). Then, the user presses a printing button as necessary to print a calibration sheet 50 for contrast adjustment (S27). If the contrast between a background ground tint and a latent image ground tint is OK on the basis of confirmation using the calibration sheet for contrast adjustment (YES in S28), its setting is performed to a printer driver of a printer control unit (S29), and the processing is completed.
