Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately reflect an individual document or mail information used for generating pipe information in an information sharing system. SOLUTION: A multi-pipe generating/updating part 16 generates a multi-pipe expressing the contents of information to be exchanged between plural information management devices in terms of plural meaning sets. A topic comparing part 32 mutually compares the meaning sets included in plural multi-pipes and judges similarity between the meaning sets and a request processing part 24 and a multi-pipe retrieving part 26 are used for retrieving multi-pipe information coincident with a user's request. A multi-pipe synthesis part 28 synthesizes plural pipe information obtained by retrieval by using their similarity to generate a new multi-pipe. Since pipes are expressed in terms of plural semantic sets, more accurate pipes can be generated and managed.
