An element-installing part 11 for installing a pyroelectric element is provided on the upper surface. In a synthetic resin mold 10, having an IC installation part 12 for installing a signal processor IC connected with the pyroelectric element, metal members 1, 2 for internal wiring between the element and IC and metal members 5, 6, 7 for external wiring between external terminals and IC are inserted in simultaneous one body formation. A metal cap having an infrared detection window in the structure is welded in a state with the metal base external terminals connected with the metal members 5, 6, 7 for external wiring.
