Abstract:
The roof comprises numerous rigid roof elements (1,2,3) which can be moved between a first position in which they cover the passenger compartment (5) and a second position where they are stored in the boot (4). In the boot they are stacked horizontally under the boot lid (4a). The roof elements are mounted to pivot relative to a spindle (8) located inside the boot so that they can be raised upwards when the boot lid is opened.
