PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pension management device or system related to the right of industrial ownership and capable of flexibly deal with changes in management items and surely dealing with especially the revision of a rate. SOLUTION: A relational data base is formed by sorting and storing information for specifying individual items to be managed, many information necessary for the pension management of individual items and calculation expressions for calculating the pension amounts of individual items and their payment dates on the basis of previously designed classifications so as to have mutual correlations. A program is formed so as to select a calculation expression to be applied to a selected item when each item stored in the relational data base is selected using a structured inquiry language and display a pension payment date and a pension amount to be paid on the payment date on a screen.
