To provide a camera wherein an image display means can be arranged in a user-friendly state while avoiding upsizing.

The camera includes a monitor apparatus 10 capable of attaining turning operations, the monitor apparatus 10 includes a turning support 11 turnably supported by turning support shafts 14, 15 in left and right directions by bridging over a finder eyepiece frame 4 on the rear side of a camera outer package 2, a turning support shaft 16 orthogonal to the turning support shafts 14, 15 is fixed to the turning support 11, and a display frame 12 having an LCD display section 13 on which a photographing image is displayed is turnably fitted to the turning support shaft 16. The display frame 12 is turnable around the turning support shafts 14, 15 and turnable around the turning support shaft 16.
