Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a driving wheel provided with structure increasing the contact area of a fastening part and improving the strength of the fastening part. SOLUTION: In this bearing device for the driving wheel, a hub wheel 1, a constant velocity universal joint 2 and a double row bearing part 3 are unitized, and at least one raceway surface 7 out of double rows of raceway surfaces 7, 8 of the bearing part 3, and a wheel mounting flange 9 are formed on the outboard side of the hub wheel 1. A shaft part 20 of a joint outer ring 14 of the constant velocity universal joint 2 is fitted into the hub wheel 1 through serrations 21, 22, and a shaft end part 85 of the joint outer ring 14 is fastened radially outward and stuck to a wheel mounting flange side end face 39 of the hub wheel 1. A part, brought into contact with at least the fastening part 38, of the wheel mounting flange side end face 39 of the hub wheel 1 is inclined radially outward onto the outboard side.
