To provide a system for electric-power generation enabling highly efficient power-generation.
The system for electric-power generation comprises hydrate-decomposing equipment 12 by which hydrate is decomposed by making use of return of cooling water and the like to generate high-pressure gas, a 1st high-pressure gas turbine 18 to which high-pressure gas 14 generated by the hydrate-decomposing equipment 12 is supplied as a power source, a generator 19 generating electric power by rotating the turbine, a heater 56 raises the temperature of low-pressure gas 17, which has dropped by rotating the 1st high-pressure gas turbine 18, by the heat of sea water, and hydrate-forming equipment 24. In the hydrate-forming equipment 24, natural gas is used as a heat-reducing source, and hydrate slurry 28X is formed by blowing low-pressure gas 57 discharged from the heater 56 into the water supplied from the hydrate-decomposition equipment 12 to the high pressure water turbine 42, and discharged after the high-pressure water turbine 42 has recovered the power. The 1st high-pressure gas turbine 18 and the high-pressure water turbine 42 are rotated by circulating water and a hydrocarbon, etc. which constitute the hydrate slurry.
