To provide a vertical agitation pyrogenetic reaction device used for thermal decomposition of plastics, rubber or the like as well as for decomposition or the like of dioxins contained in dust and soil or the like comprising the dioxins, capable of evenly heating a material to be treated.
The device is characteristically provided with a casing the upper part of which has a feed opening of the material to be treated and a gas outlet and the lower part of which has a discharge opening of the material to be treated, a rotating shaft vertically arranged in the center of the casing so as to allow the horizontal rotation, a driving means for rotating the rotating shaft, horizontally projecting agitation members arranged vertically to the rotating shaft at intervals for agitating the material to be treated, a heating means arranged on the outer surface of the casing, and a horizontally projecting heat-transfer member arranged between the agitation members in the casing which transfers heat from the heating means to the material to be treated.
