The method is for simulating performance of a tire performing numerical analysis of the tire using a computer. It is characterized in that this method includes a step S1 setting up the tire model in which rubber material, a fibrous composite material including carcass and a belt, and an unextensible bead core are modeled with the element possible to perform numerical analysis, a step S2 calculating the history of the distortion generated from one rotation of the tire model based on boundary conditions about at least the preset object part for evaluation of the tire model, and an evaluating step S3 evaluating the durability of the tire based on the history of the distortion.
