PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically long air cleaner constituted in a tower style wherein the main body is formed into a tall vertical structure, supported on a stand so as to be smoothly revolvable without generating backlash in a horizontal direction and capable of sending clean air up to a remote place over a wide range. SOLUTION: A support plate 25 having a bearing part 25a at the center thereof is placed on the stand 1 and a revolving plate 27 equipped with a revolving support shaft 27a supported in a freely revolvable manner by the bearing part 25a so as to leave a production gap with respect to the support plate 25 and reciprocally moved in connection with a drive motor is provided on the lower part 26 of a bottom panel constituting the upper part of a base 2 and a plurality of rollers 28 comprising rotary bodies 28a such as wheels (a) or ball bearings (b) supporting the revolving plate 27 in a freely revolvable manner are provided on the support plate 25.
