Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently solve coating trouble to enable the stable operation of a kiln and to suppress the resynthesis of dioxin by rapidly cooling a waste gas from the kiln down to a specific temp or lower. SOLUTION: Waste gas discharged from the kiln 4 is introduced into a water cooling device through a kiln inlet hood 3 and a funnel type waste gas flow-in pipe 18 and coarse particles in the waste gas are gravitationally separated by lowering the flow rate from 10-20 m/sec to 0.05-5 m/sec. Next, a sprinkling frame 17 is jetted into conical shape from a sprinkler nozzle 16 provided at the lower part of the water cooling device and is brought into contact with the waste gas cooled to 400-600 deg.C by a cooling fan of the kiln inlet hood 3 to rapidly cool to 250-280 deg.C and the cooled waste gas is discharged from a waste gas flow-out pipe 19 at the upper end of the water cooling device. The gravitationally separated coarse particles falls down in the kiln inlet hood 3 and enters in the kiln 4 or after deposited in the waste gas flow-in pipe 18, is fed to the kiln inlet hood 3.
