To solve the problem in a conventional device that when a plurality of compressors are operated while stopping a part of them for a fixed time, the unbalance in lubricating oil quantity must be solved by simultaneously operating all the compressors or simultaneously stopping them for a predetermined time, which might cause the necessity of simultaneously operating all the compressors when the load is minimized, or the necessity of stopping all the compressors when a load is needed, and the operation of the compressors responding to a requested load therefore cannot be performed.
In this heat pump device, the part extending from an intake branch part 46 for branching to respective inlet pipes 45a and 45b of the plurality of compressors 22a and 22b to the respective inlet pipes 45a and 45b of the compressors 22a and 22b is at least partially set higher than the position of the intake branch part 46 to prevent the collection of lubricating oil to the compressor which is stopped.
