Abstract:
To provide a floatation filtration apparatus which can be operated for efficiently obtaining high quality water at low washing frequency, and to provide a method thereof.
Raw water is introduced into a filtration tower 10 in the swirling direction from a pipe 4 and a swirling fluidized layer 11 is formed by swirling the lower part of a filtration layer 13 formed below a supporting body 14. A filter medium on the upper side constitutes a fixed layer 12. A floating filter medium in the swirling fluidized layer 11 is circulated via pipes 21, 23, 24. Treated water is taken out via pipes 30, 32 and settled sludge is discharged from a pipe 41.
