To provide a document management device capable of preventing the processing condition of a document file from being illegally changed.

The document management device 10 is provided with: a processing request information storing part 105 for associating the processing condition of the document file and identification information of a change authority holder having authority to change a processing condition with the document file to store them; an authentication processing part 106 for identifying a change requester on the basis of authentication information of the change requester, referring to the processing request information storing part 105 and determining whether the change requester is the change authority holder for the document file when there is a change request for the designation of the document file and the processing condition of the document file; and a changing part 107 for receiving the change request for the processing condition and changing the processing condition stored in the processing request information storing part 105 when determining that the change requester is the change authority holder.
