To prevent the occurrence of the attenuation of a signal caused by the voltage division of impedance and to smoothly execute the power line communication.
When the power line communication is executed, the signal transmitted from itself is fed back. Accordingly, a signal voltage transmitted on the power line is detected. The impedance on the transmission side is under the control of a CPU 201 so as not to generate a difference between the signal voltage on the transmission side and the signal voltage on the power line. The signal voltage on the transmission side is adjusted with the resistor volume 304. Accordingly, the voltage division is not executed to the impedance. The attenuation of the signal does not occur. As a result, the transmitted signal can be surely sent to the other electrical appliances.
