To accurately measure the visceral fat rate even if a false fat image appears in an X-ray CT image.
When a false fat image appears in the X-ray CT image of a subject M, an object of measurement of the visceral fat rate, the whole false image is set as a visceral fat rate non-interest region in the X-ray CT image by a fat rate non-interest region setting part 19. As a result, the visceral fat rate is calculated by a visceral fat rate calculating part 18 only with the fat pixels out of the visceral fat rate non-interest region by excluding fat pixels within the visceral fate rate non-interest region. Accordingly, mingling of errors caused by the false fat image in the quantity of fat in calculating the visceral fat rate can be avoided, and therefore, the calculated visceral fat rate is accurate without including errors caused by the false fat image. In this way, the visceral fat rate of the subject M can be accurately measured even when the false fat image appears in the X-ray CT image.
