Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device capable of speeding up a drawing instruction to a memory by making it possible to access the memory in a word unit at high speed when optional rectangular patterns different in width and height are painted out. SOLUTION: The image output device is provided with a pattern acquisition means for acquiring rectangular patterns specified by a parameter, a means for drawing the specified rectangular patterns within a range of a specified graphic so that they are paved like tiles, a means for caching the once specified rectangular patterns and a pattern retrieving means for retrieving whether or not the rectangular pattern corresponding to an optional parameter exists in a cache.
