Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase precision of camera parameters and a survey drawing by finding the center of gravity of reference points by picture processing with high precision. SOLUTION: A plate coordinate system (Xa, Ya) to be secondary coordinates is defined for a picture image IM1 obtained by a camera M1, and reference points 22, 24, 26 on a target are represented by plate coordinates ai (i=1-3). For the purpose of this, the center of gravity of the reference points is found by picture processing with high precision. Namely, a nearby region which contains reference point corresponding regions and is smaller than a nonreflective member corresponding region is detected from each picture image, and a histogram of the numbers of pixels concerning brightness information is formed from obtained brightness information of constituent pixels, and brightness information whose number of pixels becomes a maximum value in a low brightness region is made a threshold. Besides, each pixel of the nearby region is Laplacean-filter-processed, and the brightness information is converted to emphasize a reference point boarder. A continuous region of pixels having brightness information higher than the threshold extracted as a group corresponding to the reference points, and a weighed center-of-gravity position is found to make it the position of the center of gravity of the reference points.
