To provide a digital camera, capable of outputting print image data to a printer for printing a desired image in the desired print specifications (number of print sheets, printing paper size, and printing colors).

In a digital camera 100, photographed images 31 are displayed on a liquid crystal display, and a user selects a desired image and designates the printing specifications, such as the number of printing sheets, the printing paper size, and the printing color to create printing image data. The created print image data are transmitted from the digital camera 100 to a color printer of an output device. The color printer prints the image in accordance with the printing image data.
