To easily attach and detach a spool piece integrally to/from a CRD housing under a condition mounted with a motor bracket.
This attaching and detaching device for a control rod driving mechanism for attaching and detaching the spool piece 12 mounted with a motor unit 10, using the motor bracket 13 having a diameter larger than an outside diameter of the spool piece, to/from the CRD housing 6, is provided with a bolt wrench 18 comprising a universal joint, capable of accessing a bolt 19 for tightening the spool piece 12 to the CRD housing 6 while bypassing the motor bracket 13. A tip part 18a of the bolt wrench 18 is widened from an outer circumferential part of the motor bracket 13 when the tip part 18a of the bolt wrench 18 is passed through the motor bracket 13, the tip part 18a of the bolt wrench 18 is narrowed to be engaged with a head part of the bolt 19, after passed, and the bolt 19 is loosened to remove the spool 12 and the motor bracket 13 integrally from the CRD housing 6.
