To provide a filter for a thin type display which can be simply attached/detached to/from a display part and of which the relative position to the display part can be simply adjusted.
The filter is constituted so as to be attached to the front of a liquid crystal display part 33 as a front cover 31 constituting the thin type display 30 and provided with a polarizing filter 3a for splitting and polarizing parallax image information for right and left eyes which is displayed on the liquid crystal display part 33 to a required direction and position controlling means 4a, 4b capable of controlling the position of the polarizing filter 3a to the liquid crystal display part 33. The means comprise operation parts rotatably attached to a frame part 2 and circular cam parts each of which has a center axis on a position decentered from the rotation axis of the operation part, and the circular cam parts are integrated into a groove part 34 formed around the peripheral part of the liquid crystal display part 33 so as to be rotatably slid.
