Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current lead for cryogenic instruments capable of reducing both heat infiltration amount and Joule loss and having good insulation coating workability. SOLUTION: A current lead for cryogenic instruments drawn from cryogenic side to a normal temperature side is formed of different types of materials A, B on a normal temperature side 1a and a cryogenic side 1b thereof. W1 is the total quantity of infiltration amount of heat and the Joule loss in a reference current lead formed of material A in the range from the cryogenic side to the normal temperature side. W2 is the total quantity of infiltration amount of heat and the Joule loss in a current lead having the same cross-sectional area as the reference current lead formed of the material A on the normal temperature side 1a and of the material B at the cryogenic side 1b. The materials A, B satisfy the condition that W1>W2.
