Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a trouble in a cooling means for cooling an outer tank, a heat exchanger, etc., and to prevent drying efficiency from being decreased and operating time from being prolonged caused by the trouble of the cooling means in a washing and drying machine in which a series of processes of washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying are successively controlled. SOLUTION: An inner tank 4 with a rotational central shaft approximately in the vertical direction is freely rotatably supported in the outer tank 6 being elastically hung in a casing 1 and a rotor blade 6 is freely rotatably provided on the inner bottom part of the inner tank 4 and the inner tank 4 or the rotor blade 6 is driven by means of a motor 10 and hot air heated by means of a heater 15 is circulated by means of a blower 14 for drying in a hot air circulating path 18 with a heat exchanger 12 cooled by a blower 28 for cooling and processes for washing, rinsing, dehydrating and drying are controlled by a control means. The control means is constituted in such a way that it monitors temperature difference between temperature of circulated air in the hot air circulation path 18 and temperature of the outer wall of the heat exchanger 12 or the outer tank 3 to detect the trouble of the blower 28 for cooling.
