To solve the problem that a good-usability method enabling an image photographed by a mobile phone to be surely printed is not established even when it is contrived to carry out the printing by utilizing an infrared interface set at the mobile phone and transmitting image data to a printer with an infrared interface equal to that set at the mobile phone.
Data having a data form dependent on the mobile phone 200 with a camera is received by the infrared interface 105. The image data included in the data is extracted by analyzing the data (112 and 114). The extracted image data is decoded by a JPEG processing part 130 and developed to image data. Printing is carried out at a printing engine part 150 on the basis of the thus developed image data.
