To provide an electronic mail system capable of preventing almost all spam mails.

The electronic mail system includes: an electronic mail receiving section for receiving electronic mails; a permission list storage section for storing the electronic mail address of each of originators whose transmission is permitted; a permission list determining means for determining whether or not an originator is stored in the recipient's permission list; a registration processing section for transmitting a predetermined notice if the recipient is not stored in the permission list to receive a request of registering the recipient to the permission list and transmitting the fact that the registration request is received to receive information as to whether or not the e-mail address of the recipient is registered to the permission list, and additionally registering the originator in the permission list if the registration is permitted; and an electronic mail transmitting section for transmitting a received electronic mail if the recipient is stored in the permission list.
